Jay Anderson has been in the antiques/auction business since 1971. His speciality has been in in mid-19th furniture and lighting, including works by John H. Belter, J & JW Meeks, Alexander Roux, Charles Baudouine, Mitchell & Rammelsburg and Herter to name a few, and lighting manufacturers including Handel, Tiffany, Pairpoint, Cornelius & Baker and Mitchell, Vance & Co. In recent years he has conducted one major sale a year. Annual auctions includes a wide range of lighting, lamps, chandaliers, smalls, carpets, advertising, county store, statuary and art. Jay Anderson has provided numerous important pieces to collections throughout the country as well as contributed valuable information to publications pertaining to American 19th century furniture.
